So I finally went across the water to get my “fix it” cut. It took me awhile to find someone who does precision dry cutting technique. While it was not quite the same as going to my San Diego hairdresser, who for seven years, kept my hair long, glossy, and windswept (he was trained in New York under John Sahag) it definitely was a major improvement. Basically I have a shoulder length cut, with more fullness and body around the face, with soft, tapered ends. And while I use more time to style it, I gain versatility that I didn’t have before. I miss my long hair, but I think this cut will grow out very well. Right now I’m playing around with soft, twenties style waves with a 2 in 1 straight iron/curler. I’m semi hair appliance r-tarded so one side will turn out perfect and the other looks styled with chopsticks (cause im Asian). Braids still look cute, too! -- source link
