Here’s Murue the Stag Beetle!He’s from Tale of Bugs Part 1 and is the last member of Burgess’s troup (antagonist of the story).The first drawing present hims in his full strength, the second one is his casual look.Murue emerged too early from his pupa which caused him to be weaker and thinner than average stag beetle. And as another consequence: his mandibles are misplaced (they’re supposed to be in his mouth, not on the top of the head).It didn’t stop him for being a fighter and becoming the leader of a beetle village.He also hangs out with Caldéon, a millipede. -- source link
