Took this pic a couple of years ago in Yudanaka Onsen, Nagano Prefecture. The train ride from central Nagano (City) to Yudanaka is an entertaining one as you creep through the city suburbs and then inch your way up the mountain slopes, and into the snow, toward Yudanaka station. You’re in snowboarding and snow monkey-watching territory here and accordingly the station well prepped with multilingual info and multilingual guides floating around. Southeast of the station, where this picture was taken, all roads lead (eventually) into the narrowing valley where the snow monkeys bathe.https://www.city-cost.com/ -- source link
