First time in the office since the state of emergency was called, and on a Saturday, too.  Still, needs must in this case.  These alleys around Shimbashi station en route to work are always quiet of a weekend, virus emergency or not, – this being a nightlife zone of sorts for the weekday office crew of nearby Shiodome –  and appeared in a right old mood in today’s gloomy weather.  Weather aside though, it must be a struggle for the owners of the area’s bars and restaurants right now.  Of a weekday evening, particularly in the warmer months, these narrow streets would have been flowing with foot traffic and booze pre-pandemic.https://www.instagram.com/city_cost_japan/ -- source link
