I wrote a picture book, and it’s out today. Called Butterflies Are Pretty… Gross!, it’s full of surprising, weird, gross butterfly science, with hilarious and charming art by Jacob Souva. It’s out through Tundra Books and you can get it here.This is very much a Bird and Moon-style book. I did a lot of research for it, and filled it with both familiar species and deep cuts.
