the-nylon-swish: “1954 Miss Virginia Lachasse and her wardrobe - Miss Virginia Lachasse toured the country to raise money for the Greater London Fund for the Blind in the 1950s. She is a miniature wax mannequin now in the Fashion Museum, Bath, whose scale-replica wardrobe from the House of Lachasse gives a valuable insight into the range of garments deemed necessary at the time: from a fur coat to a dressing case of Yardley cosmetics and a packet of coloured cocktail cigarettes” from the wonderful book ‘100 Years of Fashion’ by Cally Blackman. Check out the miniature fully-fashioned stockings and foundations! ❤️ -- source link
