(it was banana + berry smoothie, btw)I’m feeling absolutely overwhelmed by Latin, and I hate this feeling. I hate it that I feel confident when going through grammar and absolutely collapse when I actually read a text. I hate it that I can’t go through one freaking line of prose without having to go back and check a tense or a case. I hate the feeling of emptiness in the pit of my stomach and the complete lack of trust in myself. I hate it that I don’t see how to get through this, and that failing makes everything worse.One day down, two more to go on my way to my Latin exam. I got a splitting headache and came home early to sip some wine and whine. Long distance glass-clink of moral support! Also, if you would ever find it helpful to discuss Latin long-distance, I have been working with it for almost half my lifetime gosh I am old more years than I would care to admit. -- source link
