If you run away, you allow anxiety to control you, to terrorize you.All those things that it tells you to fear–they are not real. So you can stand your ground, continuing with your life unaffected, knowing that its threats are empty.You Are HomeBut there is also another very important aspect of this whole issue–other people. We fear that we’ll be judged, we’ll disturb the peace, get ridiculed even. But that couldn’t be farther from the truth.Anxiety has a nasty habit of making us feel like we don’t have a place in this world. That we are just annoyances, and it would be better for us to just hide where no one could see us.But let me tell you something–you have a valid place in this world. Just like everybody else.
