July 2015 - MUUUUUUULCH MANIAMore mulch has arrived! Hopefully we can bribe the tree limb guys to bring us yet more, b/c they’re saving us money and labor hand over fist. This is after we’ve made a big dent in it, and I made more progress after these photos were taken. Mostly, I use the black concrete mixing tray (that we use as a sled) in the background to haul it around. The wheelbarrow is only good for dumping things over the side of the deck.I thought we might let it cook down for a bit, this is all totally fresh material and it’s hot composting in the center of the pile, but V was wanting to move it out of the way, so they have plenty of room to bring us more. This is a lot of forking but hey it’ll help me build more muscle. -- source link
