From the Caroline Schimmel Collection, this framed miniature photograph of a deceased young woman is accompanied by locks of her brown hair wrapped around wire to form a floral design. This piece of mourning art is from 1850. Among other treasures, this piece will be on display in the upcoming exhibition of the Schimmel Collection.
