Really, look at that fellow lying next to the cart. Don’t you think he could be Holmes?I don’t think I did too badly, all things considered. I drew this scene from much the wrong angle, I think, so the fellow lying upon the sidewalk doesn’t quite mesh with the Holmes look-alike or the bobby, whom I shall henceforth refer to as “Lestrade”. And Lestrade’s leg is unnaturally stiff, I’m afraid. Apart from that, though, it’s decent: the shading’s not too bad, and (allowing for the different angles in the same picture) the people are drawn well. Well, well enough, at any rate. -- source link
