“Celestia” by Jonas de Ro. Something about this city reminds me of Kamino. Probably the whole white, organic, yet obviously high-tech feel to it. Probably fewer flying whales, though.I didn’t do too bad at copying it; somehow, landscapes seem to be easier than people, plants, animals, or complicated objects. Maybe it’s something about how I’m thinking about it? At any rate, I didn’t do much shading, as I feared making it hard to tell the difference between the spires and waterfalls, but it still looks very much in the spirit of the original, and there’s no real problems with relative placement - nothing looks disproportionate or anything. -- source link
