A landscape. Well, it had to happen eventually, I suppose. JonasDeRo actually does some marvellous landscapes. I first found him through a series of post-apocalyptic cityscapes he did, but honestly everything he does is beautiful. Couldn’t you just imagine some Nord jarl having this as a portrait in their castle?I didn’t attempt to copy the picture exactly, knowing that would end in failure and embarrassment. Rather, I figured out how I could approximate such a landscape with my skill level and knowledge. I don’t think I did too badly; smudging the pencil with my thumb worked for a decent mist, and my simplistic method of drawing the grass certainly worked, we can say that much. I probably could have added more detail to the water and stones, though. -- source link
