Hey, it’s Brother Cadfael’s evil robotic duplicate, the Shalka Master! (as drawn by Paul Hanley) Between you and me, Jacobi really should have had more time as the Master - he was perfect for the role - but Davies, I suppose, wanted a Caligula for his… particular interpretation of the villain, rather than anything resembling a previous incarnation. Pity, really. Still, I hear Big Finish is giving Jacobi’s incarnation more time, so that’s good.I don’t think I did too bad a job. It’s a tad bit easier copying cartoons than photographs or realistic drawings of course, and the Shalka Master, being as I said a robot, is rather angular, which is easier to draw. Still, the face looks just a tad bit off-centre; I suppose part of the problem is merely that I am drawing on smaller sheets of paper than I should, but also there’s still a bit of difficulty with drawing the nose quite right. Nose, hands, and feet - the beginning artist’s three main problems. -- source link
