wisteriagardens:I came up with the idea of miniature kisetsubana. Miniature flowers representing all seasons of the year in a maiko’s kanzashi.January, February and March - Aster and fan, Plum and Narcissus are the first three. I am planning more than one for each month probably, if there is more than one motif - and in most cases there is (even February has its extra motifs, like the cute and cuddly Setsubun pinwheel)January might be a bit tricky, as there are mostly asters but I do think a crane might be an interesting item on a snap-clip. I must say April frightens me a bit - sakura, sakura, sakura… and the silver butterflies I’ve never tried making. I am seriously wondering if I even attempt them. Luckily April has the chirimen butterflies as well as a reserveShort hair friendly! I sure would buy them all <3 -- source link
