One Big Helping of Badass!-the Colt Defender Mark IThis odd weapon was created from the mind of gun designer Robert Hillburg in 1967. It is an eight barrel .20 gauge shotgun that works similarly to a double action revolver. The purpose of this gun is to simulate the fire of a semi-automatic shotgun combined with the robustness and reliability of a revolver. Unfortunatly there were some problems with this gun. In 1967 the country was undergoing a recession and this baby was kind of expensive. A person could get similar performance with a good semi-auto or pump action but for much less money. -- source link
