Belatedly, the latest chapter of The Craven Hive is up! Holmes is introduced to the staff of Seale Hayne, and begins his investigation. (x) Here are Margaret McPherson and Gladys Reynell, who feature as secondary characters, with their dog Jim. I only learned recently that they had a dog named Jim, and am now sad that I missed the chance to write him into the story. McPherson and Reynell lived and worked together for a number of years, including the period when the story is set. -- source link
