Besides being a picture that was manipulated in photoshop (the stars would require a longer exposure than the moon to show that bright, the colors have been exaggerated, and the dark side of the moon is literally cut away!), if you look at pictures that were actually taken by astronauts on the moon, we can see that it’s not all that colorful:I mean, space is freaking cool and we don’t really need to make up stuff to make it seem cooler. -- source link
