In case you missed it, our Annie Origins cinematic is out! This was such an amazing project to work on, and I am so grateful to Riot and team Annie for the opportunity. I painted some backgrounds, hair assets, faces, and provided some cel animation for cleanup here and there. My paintings would then be taken by our awesome 3D artists and projected onto an animated model and composited. Check out the BTS video for some more info on our process! (I’m not in the BTS because I joined the team after it was filmed, but it’s still awesome) You can find all of this on the League of Legends website and YouTube.
