#Repost @sexyandsoulful ・・・ Feelings are felt in the body (embodied). Once a feeling has made its way into the mind, it turns to thought (disembodied). How we express ourselves—through intentional speaking + embodied expression—is the level to which were tuned in & connected to our healthy feminine. To authentically express and heal through your own permission to express you must realize the difference between expressing from the true f e e l i n g, & expressing from the resentment of hiding that true feeling, allowing the energy to move into our minds & then becoming a STORY. Because the mind creates inauthentic stories around those unfelt emotions. Stories like, “He’ll/she’ll* never understand me.” “He/she doesn’t even care.” “Does he/she even love me?” “They probably did THIS behind my back.” “I wonder how often they’ve lied to me.” “This will probably never work because x, y, z.” Can you see how impossible it is to maintain a strong connection— that grows instead of shatters— when your mind is sabotaging you the whole time? It’s your sacred right to e x p r e s s in a way that invites more love & connection, rather than expressing from the feeling that has turned into a thought process, that has festered from being ignored for so long. Womxn, how do you express yourself when feelings arise in your body? Is this concept of radical self expression somewhere you feel you need support? This is a huge theme inside The Foundations, exploring how to truly FEEL so that you can express when it’s right, move the emotion and allow it to move on through healthy communication + embodiment. . . https://www.instagram.com/p/CM0rSBxHJDl/?igshid=1hubud29217a5 -- source link
