Yesterday, we had to say goodbye to our sweet little Penny. She’d been so vibrant, so full of life. But the past two weeks, she began to be wracked with increasingly violent, increasingly worsening seizures. We did not make the decision to let our baby go lightly. She was so young, barely six months. But the prognosis for her was not good, and in the end, we couldn’t just continue to let her suffer.
