i haven’t posted art in a Hot Second so here’s some futuristic merthur for a self indulgent superhero au!! i might expand and add more characters + Lore later but heres what i’ve got so far:on merlins nineteenth birthday, merlins father (who he has never actually met) gifts him a mechanical arm. when merlin gestures his arm while talking and ends up setting his (and wills) toaster on fire, merlin realizes it has a Lot more functions than he originally thought. during his late shifts gwens family owned bar, The Forge, merlin begins to double as a bartender and security, by subtly using his newly learned abilities on out-of-hand patrons. at the same time, arthur serves as second in command for Camelot, an official crime fighting organization working with the government. he wields dual swords and also owns a motorcycle, which he fondly calls excalibur. the two meet when merlin saves arthur after his undercover operation at The Forge goes awry, leading him to accidentally getting involved with Camelot (and by extension, arthur).  -- source link
