This seems as reasonable an explanation for Tumblr’s actions as anything. The moral high-ground excuse of not being able to filter out illegal and exploitative content was sketchy at best. Making Tumblr a safe place also felt like an excuse as well. Cleaning up the place before selling with a coat of paint over the black mold it sounds plausible. -- source link
