Fun History Fact,During World War II the Allies were famous for tricking the Germans with  bogus war plans.  For example, in Operation Mincemeat the Allies tricked the Germans into believing they would invade Greece when in reality they were going to invade Sicily.  In Operation Quicksilver the Allies convinced the Germans the D-Day landings would occur at the Port of Calais instead of Normandy.Due to a large number of Allied deceptions, whenever the German’s captured a legitimate copy of Allied war plans, they would often dismiss it as a fake and another piece of “Allied trickery”. -- source link
