venusdollshouse: Christmas typical desserts recipe from all over the world PART. 5 Japan - Japanese Christmas cake In Christian countries the Christmas menu is important and varies from region to region, but in Japan a Christmas menu has never been established. However, over time, two types of dishes have taken over as a Christmas dish: the most popular dish is the Christmas cake, which was sold for the first time in Ginza (for a change) in shops Fugiya , always in 1910. The Japanese Christmas cake is usually made of sponge cake, decorated with whipped cream, strawberries and a small figure of Santa Claus. Of course, it was not created specifically for Christmas, in fact this type of cake was sold until then as cake for birthdays.
