The Walther APThe Walther AP, Armee Pistole, was the ancestor of the Walther P-38 used by the German Army in World War II. It was chambered in 9mm (although 10 .45acp models are known to exist) and used the same operating principles as the Walther P-38. The biggest difference was the the Walther AP lacked a hammer.
