Danby High Moor - Trough House. by Yorkshire Lad - Paul Thackray This building is on a remote part of Danby High Moor overlooking Little Fryup Dale in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The hut is well maintained and I suspect it may be a hut where shooting parties refresh now. It is adjacent to disused mine workings that are scattered around this area. Sheep, generally Swaledales, graze this open land. The track which is called Cut Road (path) runs around the head of both Fryup Dales and onto the road at Glaisdale Rigg and is a superb walk. https://flic.kr/p/2k4T1iT -- source link
