Presenting…ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: @/bluee_rainee​Role: ArtistWhat do you like or find compelling about Solas’ character?I love the duality of characters like Solas- characters who can be truly good and kind but their duty or conscience force them to embrace the scarier parts of themselves they wish they could forget. My favorite aspect of his character however, is that of the gentler mage. The quiet and curious Solas sleeping in some ruin to dream is always compelling to experience and I adore the little stories he tells you with relish, happy to pass on what he has learned. What do you think is going to happen in DA4?Pain and hope are the only constant variables in this series. What do you love about being a writer/artist/comic artist?Like many of you in the DA community, I love stories and admire what a good tale can do for a person. Inquisition, my first DA game, changed the way I looked at video games, books, and art, and it came to me in a moment of loneliness and uncertainty. Writing and drawing gives me an opportunity to jump start stories and characters that could inspire someone, perhaps someone who was in the same position I once was. That and I love challenges- there’s nothing more challenging than upstaging yourself in drawing increasingly hot elves. Link us/share with us one piece you want to show off (link to finished art/fic) and tell us why it’s special to youWhile quite simple, I love making fanart for things that happen in between the lines of movies/books/episodes/etc. I made this Grogu and Ben fanart while waiting for the Mandalorian S2 finale and once that released, my heart exploded thinking what I had drawn was possible.
