fromcold:vaderkin:’I’d much rather dream about Padmé.’I love this scene so much because it shows how much Obi-Wan truly cares about Anakin. He notices something’s wrong and asks Anakin about it in a low key wayHe is the one who brings up Anakin’s mother. He is not, as some corners of fandom would have him, berating Anakin for still worrying about his mother a decade later. And the fact that he says this suggests they’ve had this discussion before, like it’s a regular thing. He offers the best advice he has right now: that yes, there might be nothing he can do about nightmares but that they will passThe fact that Anakin - probably counter to what eventually happens by RotS - is able to make himself vulnerable (that little nod!) and talk to Obi-Wan about this, even if it’s just a little before he changes the subject to Padme. The whole conversation is so understated and gentle and I just love it so much. I love them at this point in time so much, before things really started to deteriorate. -- source link
