i think they messed this line up a little in the official translation- the threat loses some of its weight due to a specific word choice. the official has kaidou saying “once you’re dead, we’ll take everything you have! all your manpower and treasure will belong to us!”i don’t think the word “manpower” was a good choice here. technically i guess its… not completely wrong, but it muddles the meaning. the original word in japanese is 仲間/nakama. crew. kaidou is specifically threatening to take luffy’s crew. -- source link
