heytinafey: I think there’s certainly been a commonality between punk and comedy for years. It’s people who’s felt like outsiders that I think are channeling anger and angst and are finding ways of giving themselves license to kind of address some of this pain. I think there is something that’s very dangerous about comedy right now. Especially stand-up. I think that, not so much television comedies, but when you see stand-up sometimes, there’s something so bare about that, and so raw. You don’t always see that in music anymore, and I think that’s ok. Music, I think, embodies more mystery and persona.
