Now, though, you have to admit… The Patriarchy does seem like a valid option. Feminism has flaws you’re starting to see. Being a baby sounds like a relief and a break from your daily pressure. Dressing to be sexy doesn’t sound subversive anymore. It just sounds fun. Liberals are starting to seem “too politically correct.” What you thought was sexist now seems just traditional. Thoughts that you used to see right-wing or misogynist now just seem like another way of viewing the world. You spend more time thinking in a ‘taboo’ way than you do thinking the way you used to.
