Since the Valentine’s Day Puzzle of “The Game Is Now” was only available in London we had to make do a little, but @theconsultingtranslator, @devoursjohnlock, @mollydobby, and I had a little Zoom adventure today – with loads of delicious tea time treats, and yet another Sherlock puzzle #new contentI’m not gonna post the actual puzzle, but below the cut there is a little ramble about its solution, including potential meta fodder.The puzzle was a variation of “Einstein’s puzzle” / “Who owns the fish?”, but we had to find the assassin living in one of five houses on Baker Street.Here are the more interesting (meta) bits about the solution (including spoilers!): “The German owns the fish” was literally one of the clues, and I honestly thought that was a really nice easter egg referring to the original puzzle.The doctor drinks tea Turns out the assassin was the German, who owns the (gold)fish, drinks coffee and lives in house 4 with the green door (greenhouse?).
