Middle-earth March - Day 16 “Let this be the hour when we draw swords together. Fell deeds, awake. Now for wrath, now for ruin, and a red dawn. Forth Eorlingas!” Such an epic and strong scene at the Battle of Helm’s Deep! Looking at King Théoden as an old and battered man, weak and weary, the only strength coming form Saruman’s voice through him, you might never think that he would become the leader he was in the Hornburg uttering that memorable quote! Tolkien really knew how to surprise his readers!Today’s topic for Middle-earth March suggested by @tolkientribe is “Edoras, Horse Lords”. -- source link
