We need the ocean to be healthy and functioning just as much as mermaids do, so next time you go grocery shopping, consider some things (if you don’t already): bringing your own (cloth) bag or backpack, skipping the plastic bottle drinks, and opting for bar soap over plastic-bottle body wash with microplastic. Maybe there’s even an unwrapped salad next to the plastic-wrapped one.
