The Japanese never fail to impress me. I went to the Sumidagawa Fireworks last night, with an estimated crowd of 1 million people. These are comparison shots of two streets during the peak of the fireworks, and the streets just 20 mins after the fireworks finished. The people cleared the area with remarkable efficiency and orderliness and left not a scrap of rubbish on the street. China made me develop a hate for crowds, Tokyo is slowly reversing that. -- source link
