nyc-urbanism: You can now register to visit One Vanderbilt’s observation deck, opening this fall. Summit One Vanderbilt is the newest observation deck to come to Midtown, following the opening of The Edge at Hudson Yards just over a year ago. The 1,000-foot observation deck features the highest urban alpine meadow in the world, an outdoor bar, and an art installation. Possibly the most unique attraction is called Levitation, glass “skyboxes” that cantilever off the top of the tower, providing breathtaking views of the city below.
