route22ny:Aerial view of lower Manhattan, circa 1915 is my guess. This pic, without a caption, accompanied a section in a recent New York Daily News edition. The only photo credit was an unhelpful “Getty Images.” Still, it’s a fascinating look at the architecture of a century ago and all the shipping piers going up the west side. The Staten Island Ferry terminal is seen on the lower edge of the photo. -- source link
