A mountain hydrangea flower emerging through the leaves of creepers in the forest. These plants are native to the mountains of Korea and Japan. I love the forest wildflowers - hidden pockets of wonder in the dark shade of the tall trees. It’s a joy to find one that hasn’t started to die off and isn’t surrounded by spider’s webs and the fallen detritus of spring tree blossom. To my mind, this one is flawless! -- source link
