The Harrington & Richardson Hunter,Produced between 1924 and 1941, the H&R Hunter is among the most unusual and unique of .22 caliber revolvers produced. It’s most standout features include a conspicuous 10" long barrel as well as a set of oversized grips. The H&R was also unique in that fact that it held seven shots, rather than six, something not very common with revolvers. The H&R hunter was originally marketed as a target pistol, but the revolver was more popular as a plinking gun and small games pistol rather than a budget target pistol. Loading was done through a loading port located on the right hand side of the cylinder. The revolver was double action, meaning it did not need to be cocked with each shot. Unfortunately there was no swing out cylinder or ejection rod, so the cylinder had to be removed for reloading. Regardless, they were very popular in their day, and considering the H&R made .22 revolvers to last, there are still many available on the second hand market. One in excellent condition can be worth up to $300. Generally they run around $150 to $250. A similar model, called the “Trapper”, was also concurrently produced, differing only in that it had a 6" barrel. -- source link
