The ashtray shouldn’t bother anyone. it’s not you that anyone is forcing to smoke. This photo is beautiful regardless, ashtray and cigarettes or not. because the ashtray completely changes the feel of the picture. before you see a girl who’s tired from staying up until 3am last night reading, with her blonde hair free from hair dye or chemicals, someone with a kind free spirit who wouldnt hurt a fly. then the ashtray makes her into someone that’s trying to get some sleep because she stayed up too late partying with her fake platinum hair, who hurts her family and friends so much because of her nicotine addiction, and who’s about to go on the coffee and cigarettes diet. I’m sorry, but why would you just assume that because someone smokes they’re a horrible person, and that because someone doesn’t they’re innocent and kind and loving to everyone? how can something so small change your perception of someone that much? i know plenty people who have never tried a cigarette, but take advantage of everything they have in life. people that boss around their parents and take advantage of their friends and expect everyone to do what they say when they say it. and i also know people who smoke that are the kindest, most nurturing people i have ever met. people who would kill for the people they love and who take other people’s pain onto themselves. don’t judge someone based on whether or not they smoke.
