Bradley, a scholar, author, educator, and administrator at UPenn, was considered an international expert on Whitman, editing several important editions of *Leaves of Grass*. Upenn Libraries, in conjuction with other Penn groups and programs and partner organizations in the Philadelphia/Camden region, will organize a series of cultural events and artistic commissions next year to highlight the 200th anniversary of Walt Whitman’s birth, which will take place May 31, 2019.
