vincentbriggs:Got some pictures of me wearing my most recent waistcoat! The shoulders are a bit wrinkly but overall I’m pleased with how it turned out. It was meant as a sort of trial run, cut to the same pattern as the waistcoat I’m currently embroidering, because I’d never hand sewed one this shape before. I did a fair amount of piecing because I really, really love piecing. The back is pieced from 6 scraps of brown linen, the collar lining is 6 scraps of silk, and there’s a little bit pieced onto the shoulder on both fronts. I did teeny tiny little 2 colour deaths head buttons too, just because. -- source link
