The whole world can fall apart, your parents can die, he can stop loving you, and all manner of things can go wrong. By that I mean ‘what we expect from life goes unfulfilled, and often.’ People stop believing in God all the time. . But even in the darkest rubble of chaos, if you manage to hang on, there will be a lull in hell.. a clear sky and maybe a sunset. If you are given one minute to catch your breath, you might think 'the sky is beautiful.’ You may feel bad for thinking this, when misery has become your reason, when anger at God has become your calling. . But you can’t help it. Even fire can be beautiful. And rainbows show up in war. And the thought that it all might just mean something creeps back in. Even if it’s a delusion. It creeps back in. . : @spencer.r.scott #almondorchard #whiteflowerslikesnow -- source link
