bandit-art: an NPC I had used after returning to a VERY old campaign that I hadn’t done a session for in- myabe a year?This is Viero, the little squid is Squeegee.The whole idea was to turn the ‘parental figure- child’ warlock dynamic on its head. With Viero, the warlock, behaving as the parent to his patron god.General gist is Squeegee got separated from his mother (some kind of elder god, more cosmic, squid), but washed up on a beach shore where he met Viero, who was JUST stranded after falling over board from a ship.Squeegee is technically a kraken and Viero is a smug old Kenku who possesses the ability to speak freely, and seem to age more alike to humans, probably because of a friendship with a very powerful mage but that’s all something else. Normally Viero also has a bag that’s essentially a bag of holding filled with water, and that’s normally where Squeegee spends his time. -- source link
