Dany’s vision actually matches closely with her arc this season, and with Episode 6 in particular. She is so close to the Iron Throne, but has for the moment turned away – to fight the Night King, and to ally with Jon. She journeyed north of the Wall, where she had to leave behind a man she loves (that’d be Jon) and a child (RIP Viserion). Crucially, though, Jon returns to her.
