someponysscribbles: So I’ve been experimenting with Open Broadcasting Software for Livestream, and I must say, the results are phenominal. Still not the best quality, because my internet is WAY too shit for anything higher, but still, readable text with OBS on a lower bitrate, and the sound is great, based on the feedback I’ve been receiving. Kind of makes me wonder what Livestream Procaster is actually DOING with my upload, considering the result. Anyway, check it out for yourself at http://obsproject.com/ My game streaming quality isn’t so great, Livestream Procaster is better in that regard for the moment. It’s likely Im doing something wrong in OBS on my end that makes it less than stellar quality, but for normal computer stuff, this is more than awesome. Edit: Okay tumblr isnt really showing the results properly. Livestream Procaster Quality OBS Quality (( Bit of a PSA for anyone using Livestream Procaster and wants the best quality.
