stuhde: zoomester study challenge | march 1-2, 2021;day 1: introduce yourself! what’s some basic info you’d like to share about yourself? what are you studying?hey there! i’ve been here for a while, but i’m lama. i am a third culture kid and currently a senior in my last semester of university in washington, dc. i am studying interdiscplinary studies in comm, law, economics, and governemnt, followed by two minors in computer science and information systems and technology. i am also in my uni’s honors program, so i love learning, reading, and doing research. but i also love indie music, sitcoms, and now? baking.day 2: why did you decide on your major?i have thought about changing my major several times. but because i am interested in the intersections of policy, law, and technology such as algorthimic bias (ai in policing), data privacy rights, digital advocacy and equality (digital divide), and cybersecurity… i thought it was great to understanding technology through my minors, but also on the policy level through my major. it’s so much work, but i am almost there! -- source link
