Our Story <3 Well, it all started in 2008, when I met this little indian boy obsessed with getting straight A’s. He joined my dance group, my home away from home, and I noticed, hey he was pretty cute. Little did I know, he felt the same way, a whole 2 years before we started. Throughout these years, a different girl fell in what she believed to be love at the time with Vyom. It was a whole big drama, but ultimately he did not feel the same, and tried his best to remain friends with her. Him being the innocent and naive boy at the time didn’t realize that his friendliness and sympathy was being construed as what this other girl deemed “flirting”. At this time, Vyom was also my best friend and we were getting closer and closer by the day, and it wasn’t sympathetic, we both really did enjoy talking to each other, we started talking at 2:50 pm everyday until we went to bed (or rather he went to bed, I would stay up until all hours in the night). Now, fast forward to 2010 because honestly there was nothing else that was remotely interesting for those 2 years except for the fact that we both ended up really liking each other more and more. Although my dad thought we started dating in January of 2010, we ended up dating in November of 2010. It all started on November 22, 2010, when my best friend texted me saying, “Mona, Mona, Vyom just told me he likes you, can I tell him you like him”….now, he wasn’t supposed to tell me this, but my response was NO. because him liking me did not necessarily mean that we would end up together. Now, my best friend being the little shit that he is decided he should tell Vyom that I liked him anyway. For the next week we still talked like normal until November 29th, 2010 (aka…11-29….in case you guys didn’t get that), I was so fed up with people telling me what I should do about my little situation, so at 2:50 pm on November 29th, I yelled at Vyom LOL, I basically ranted about how we should just figure out what we were supposed to do about our situation, if we were going to go forward with our relationship or leave it as is, and quite frankly I knew we would be friends either way, so at that point I didn’t know what his reaction would be. His reaction was, and I quote, “I was going to ask you out on Friday….”,   I for sure thought that I ruined everything, but I didn’t, he ended up texting me after I made up some lame excuse about how I would have been nervous if he did it in person….and alas he asked me out, and we’ve been together ever since.  -- source link
