We see her sewing it when Littlefinger visits her in her room. The very first time viewers meet Sansa in season one, she is doing needlework with Septa Mordane telling her she’s done “fine work as always.” Sansa has always excelled at what are considered the more traditionally ladylike skills in Westeros. She is gifted with a needle, polite, and non-aggressive. Now she has maneuvered herself into a position where she can use Littlefinger’s weakness, something no one else has accomplished so far. She did so with her cunning, by watching, waiting and adapting to situations, and biting her tongue when need be.
